First LA Church of Craft Meeting Jan. 23rd + Supply Swap – The Church of Craft

First LA Church of Craft Meeting Jan. 23rd + Supply Swap

Dear Friends in Craft:

Please join us for the first Church of Craft meeting of 2011 on Sunday, January 23rd. I’m feeling better now (sorry I had to leave early last month!) and ready to be inspired by all of your crafty projects.

In addition to working on whatever you want to work on, we’ll do another crafty supply swap at this meeting. We all end up with things we no longer need, can’t use, or need to get rid of (to make room for more supplies, right?). Bring some supplies you’re ready to swap. Remember–one person’s cast-offs are another person’s starting point toward something cool. Swappy ideas include: yarn, fabric, craft books, buttons, paper, patterns, sewing/knitting/crochet supplies, etc. Keep in mind, though, that space is limited. Now is not the time to completely clean out your storage space!

Come on down (or up, depending on where you live).

Grab your knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery thread, yarn, paper, pens, pencils, anything you need to make something cool and join us Sunday, January 23rd for the next Church of Craft meeting.

Meeting details:

Where: The Coffee Table in Eagle Rock
1958 Colorado Boulevard

When: Sunday, January 23rd
2:00 pm until 5:00 pm or so

You can park on the street or in a lot across the way for free.
For those of you taking public transportation, many bus lines
and the DASH serve this street. Check out the trip planner on
MTA.net to plan out your specific route.

Email me with any questions or comments at: brenda@churchofcraft.org or bmiller_54@hotmail.com

Also, if you have any suggestions for future meetings or things you’d like to do, let me know.

Peace Through Craft,
Brenda
