Dear Friends in Craft:
The final LA Church of Craft for 2008 is just around the corner, on
November 23rd. (Make sure to check out Felt Club and Swap-o-Rama-Rama
at the Shrine Auditorium THIS Sunday, November 16th. Both should be
tons of fun.)
At our last meeting, we talked about having a crafty supply/book swap
at the November meeting. I think this is a great plan, especially
with all the holiday projects many of us still have to do. So, if
you’ve got some supplies and/or books that need a new home, bring them
with you. (Within reason, of course. Remember that we’re meeting at
a public place, so there’s no room for really huge boxes, leave the
U-Haul at home, etc.) I know I have some cool knitting books and yarn
that are sadly neglected.
Come on down (or up, depending on where you live)!
Grab your knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery thread, yarn,
paper, pens, pencils, anything you need to make something cool and
join us Sunday, November 23rd for the next Church of Craft meeting.
Holiday projects, anyone? Now’s your last chance to work on them with
your fellow Church of Crafters before 2009 is upon us.
