Announcement: Next LA Church of Craft, November 22nd

Dear Friends in Craft:

Please join us for the first Church of Craft meeting of the fall on Sunday, November 22nd.  We’ll be having our holiday craft supply swap, so bring anything you’re done with craft-wise and see if someone else can use it.  (Please remember that there’s not too much room where we meet.  No U-Hauls, please!)

Come on down (or up, depending on where you live).

Grab your knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery thread, yarn, paper, pens, pencils, anything you need to make something cool and join us Sunday, November 22nd for the next Church of Craft meeting.

Meeting details:

Where: The Coffee Table in Eagle Rock
1958 Colorado Boulevard

When: Sunday, November 22nd
2:00 pm until 5:00 pm or so

You can park on the street or in a lot across the way for free.
For those of you taking public transportation, many bus lines
and the DASH serve this street. Check out the trip planner on
MTA.net to plan out your specific route.

Email me with any questions or comments at: brenda@churchofcraft.org

Also, if you have any suggestions for future meetings or things you’d like to do, let me know.

Peace Through Craft,
Brenda

Welcome to the Asheville Chapter of the Church of Craft!

We meet twice a month!  Find us on the second Monday of each month at Lark Labs (inside Lark Books)  in downtown Asheville from 6pm to 9pm, and at Short Street Cakes in West Asheville on the last Sunday of each month from 1pm to 4pm.

Lark books is located at 67 Broadway, downtown, just past the LOFT.  Short Street Cakes is located at 225 Haywood Road.  Both are easy to get to via bus, car, or bike.  We welcome crafters of all kinds, and offer plenty of work space, sometimes treats, and a very sweet, engaged, and supportive community of crafters.

Bring a portable project of any kind and join us the next time we meet!

More info? Send a note via email!

sistertrish@churchofcraft.org or getcrafty@ragsreborn.com or kathleen@larkbooks.com or jodi@shortstreetcakes.com

Hope to see you at the next craft-on!

Yours very truly,

Sister Trish
